Mexicans Believe in Change
The poll numbers of Mexicans' preference for in the American election tomorrow have generally been all over the map (as well as, in the strictest sense, meaningless). The polls cited in today's Excelsior are predictably hard to rationalize, though they are interesting. Obama beats McCain by a margin of about 60 percent to 15 percent as far as being the candidate most likely to deliver an immigration agreement, foster Mexican economic stability, and welcome Mexican imports (???). He even crushes McCain on being the stronger candidate against drug cartels, by a margin of 51 to 18 (?!?!?!?!?).
