Supreme Court Plans, Part Two
In addition to abortion, the Supreme Court will also take a look at the 46,000 injunctions filed by businessmen to protect themselves from the IETU, the corporate alternative minimum tax passed as part of the 2007 fiscal reform. Newspapers are reporting that 70 billion pesos (around $5.5 billion, which amounts to about 1.5 percent of the federal budget) of unpaid government revenue remains pending.
