Disappointing

I can't say that I expected the Obama Administration to find itself in agreement with John Bolton on much of anything, but with the State Department's full-throated support Cuba's inclusion on the list of state sponsors of terrorism, that's where we are. Said State Department spokeswoman Laura Tischler, "It was included on the list because Cuba is one of the four States that sponsor terrorism." When Bolton made his ill-conceived case for Castro as a bio-terror threat in 2002, thankfully Colin Powell was there to inject some sense into the American position and gently rebuke his neocon underling. Without trivializing the myriad ways in which Obama is light years better than Bush, I don't think we can count on Hillary to do the same.
