According to the El Universal pollster Berumen, Calderón dropped slightly in popularity as the election approached, going from a 53.7 to a 51.6 percent approval rating. Berumen's measures of Calderón have always been slightly less favorable than other pollsters', so it'll be interesting to see if this holds up in other surveys.
