La Mano con Ojos Didn't See the Hands Coming for Him

State of Mexico authorities captured the leader of the newly emerged gang la Mano con Ojos, Óscar Osvaldo García Montoya, earlier today in the capital. He was subsequently linked to 600 murders, 300 of them ordered by his mouth, 300 of them carried out by his hand. They didn't really offer much to back that up as far as I can tell, but hey, it's a round number, and a scary one at that. In any event, it will be interesting to see if the gang survives the loss of its leader. If not, that was some effective bud-nipping by Edomex attorney general Alfredo Castillo, who has been the government official who has been most vocal about the gang's rise.
