Politics Continues Well Beyond the Water's Edge

Enrique Peña Nieto, who often seems to be auditioning for the presidency more than preparing or campaigning, went to Israel to visit with that nation's Interior Minister and take a look at Mossad's Control Room. He said that it was time to reevaluate Mexico's security policies, and worried that combating organized crime could become a "bottomless pit" (or, more literally, an "endless funnel").

As long as he stays far away from the foreign minister. The slightist whiff of Avigdor Lieberman-based advice would be the LAST thing Mexico needs.

Yeah and Peña Nieto seems like something of an impressionable empty slate. Hopefully there was no contact between those two. I also love how he said that it was a surprise that Israel pays attention to Mexico. I dont think I'd be surprised to find that Mossad is paying attention to nations in other solar systems.
