Last night in Mexico City, an attempted rescue of the kidnapped scion of a prominent family of businessmen ended in the woman's murder. The woman's alleged murderer is said to have killed two of the police officers participating in the raid, before turning his gun on himself. Three other alleged members of the kidnapping gang were taken into custody.
