To the right we have the picture that accompanied a front-page story in yesterday's Excélsior about the Interior Secretary's conclusion that 16 of the candidates for federal deputy have been financed by drug money. According to the report (dated January 14) upon which said conclusion is based, the candidates come from the three major parties as well as the Green Party. As the authors point out, should the candidates win, they will earn immunity to prosecution through the fuero, so it's a little worrying that the Interior Secretariat won't make the names public.
