Ortega Relaunch

Jesús Ortega earned rave reviews from left and right for his speech re-launching the PRD, which was a loud cry for building the PRD around the center-left: "The left must right now present itself as a governing option." He also reaffirmed the party's commitment to non-violence, which I think could have been broadened to include blatantly anti-democratic tactics, such as taking over Congress. That minor point notwithstanding, an optimistic beginning to the Ortega era.
