More Young Immigrants
The Chamber of Deputies says that juvenile immigration is growing. According to a new study, more than 20,000 minors were repatriated to Mexico from the US from January through September of last year. Of that group, around 80 percent were men, and 60 percent were traveling alone. Unfortunately, although they say it's a growing problem, there was data from other years included, so that's hard to verify. Indeed, it seems unlikely that youth immigration would be growing while immigration as a whole is dropping.
