I'll be interested to read about what Hearns has to say. The fact that he agreed to appear along with Kyle Turley and Ted Johnson suggests that he won't be shy about reporting the effects of his years in the ring (which were far too many; he was still fighting in 2006, 47 years old and more than a quarter century after he obliterated Pepino Cuevas for his first world title). At the same time, he has a son boxing now, so I can't imagine he thinks the sport is a cause long and irredeemably lost to barbarity. My hope is that he'll offer some insight of what the sport can do to eliminate long-term brain damage in fights.
