Calling for a Truce

La Familia Michoacana, long rumored to be weakening and whose leaders asked for a cease-fire with the government last fall, has announced a unilateral truce to last for the month of January. The idea, according to reports, is that the government, the media, and the general population will see that they aren't responsible for every crime that occurs in Michoacán.
