The new UN global crime report says that
20,000 guns pass from the US to Mexico on a yearly basis. The
ATF recently pegged the number at 300,000. Some discrepancy is understandable in estimating the size of a hidden trade, but one presumably serious organization's guess is 15 times the size of the other's (unless someone omitted a zero or something). How is that possible?
