Beinart Declares an End

Peter Beinart speculates on America's lack of love for Sarah Palin, concluding that it's all about the decreased salience of the culture war. In so doing, Beinart echoes a post from a couple of weeks, surely unbeknownst to him. His closing sentence --"She may be the last culture warrior on a national ticket for a very long time."-- points to the coming debate in the Republican party should McCain lose.
