In one scene the mother shaves her head in solidarity with her son, who has lost his hair because of the treatment, and Mori didn't want to use tricks: she got rid of all her hair. "When I was doing the scene I looked at the mirror and my eyes filled with tears, I said: "Bárbara Mori, what are you doing? But in that moment I wasn't me I was Paola, the mother of the little boy..."Mori's career arch is pretty interesting, in that she made the leap from Mexican TV and movies to Bollywood rather than American film. I wonder if we'll see more of this from actors and actresses who don't quite break through in Hollywood.
Blog about sports and politics and whatever else seems interesting from a guy (formerly) in Mexico.
