Edgardo Buscaglia, who's gotten a great deal of press lately, says that traffickers from Sinaloa and the Gulf region have made inroads in a handful of European nations. The former group operates in Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia; the latter in Israel, Poland, Holland, Belgium, France, and Spain. Given the recent reporting on connections between the Zetas and the 'Ndrangheta, it's surprising that Italy doesn't figure on the Gulf list.
